A properly pigmented edition of Bhut jolokia. Depending on how much light the plant is exposed to or the amount of artificial light, it develops purple leaves and fruits. The fruits go from light green to purple/purple tinge to red when ripe. The plant is not completely stable, the purple shows up more on some than others. In any case, it is a good fruit with an ok heat. if you get a purple beauty, you are extra lucky and a plant that does well as an ornament!
