A rare and beautiful plant that is characterized as bushy, but nevertheless it becomes a relatively large plant for chilies to be. Some fruits grow as pendants (hanging), while others stand straight up. The most interesting thing about this plant is the fruit. It either starts off as cream or purple in colour, and throughout the season they will mature towards yellow, orange and finally red. Often they have several colors at the same time on one and the same fruit. The plant is also a spectacular sight with all the colors when the different fruits are in different stages. The fruits are good to eat, lots of sweetness with a noticeable jalapeno taste. They are not particularly strong, but for being a jalapeno, they are a bit hot. Keywords are large crops and ornamental shrubs. Expect a lot, get a lot! The fact that the plant is very rare also makes this a must have plant!
